Why lack of sleep is affecting your fat loss goals…

Here I am,

sleep deprived by 4 hours because of the dog,

one dead arm from my jab,

and knee deep in biscuits, protein bars and ambers snack box.

If you’re finding decision making difficult; start by looking at your sleep.

When we are tired, decisions are harder to make.

We want the easy option.

We want the things that we think will give us energy.

Sometimes the nausea from over-tiredness doesn’t make veg sticks appealing, but the biscuit tin? Give it to me.

How can we improve our sleep?

No caffeine after 2pm

Create a positive bedtime routine

Go to bed at the same time each night

No screen time after 9pm

Read a book before bed

Keep your phone in a different room when you sleep

Listen to a meditation sleep story

Get rid of the dog that’s stopping you from sleeping

(joking about that last one…)

Sleep has a huge impact on your success in all areas of life

Start making it a priority
